What are the Farasan Islands?

Garmel house
Beit al-Jarmel, or sometimes called “Beit al-Jirman,” was an ancient building located on Qamah Island in the Farasan Islands. It is believed that this name came from the German soldiers who passed through the Red Sea and used this building as a warehouse where they stored the charcoal used as fuel for ships passing through the Red Sea between the Suez Canal in the northwest Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab, which is located between the Suez Canal in the northwest of the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab.
